Hi! I’m Lillian and I founded ReloveByLillian in early 2018. I spent 30+ years working in Finance for Fortune 100 companies in New York and NJ and loved every minute of it. Now, one of my favorite things is hunting for items to use them in home décor for that collected feel with visual interest. I also love the creative outlet of taking pieces that meant something to someone and finding ways to re-invent them so that they become functionally decorative. A once abandoned tea cup and saucer will create the memories of tomorrow while accessorizing your unique décor with a mix of old and new.
Could I describe my style in a few words?
The fluidity of these unique pieces allows them to grace any style having a place in every décor: from Shabby Chic to Country French to Urban Cottage to Modern Farmhouse, even to Grandmillenial (the newest home décor style you should know about). It aims at elegance yet it is relaxed and casual at the same time. It is inspired from Europe (which is where I am from), yet it caters to our American lifestyle.
It is about:
- preserving the past and finding practicality for the present by adding beauty and utility in the present;
- bridging generations with beautiful treasures to brighten our intimate world taking memories of the past to make new memories that last; and
- connecting to the rich history of each piece, my research may bring you a personal connection or a deeper appreciation of these unique treasures
With the help and support of my husband Jim and my best friend, Terri, these two passions came together to create ReloveByLillian, a unique shopping experience.
