I saw this cup and immediately wanted it. It must have been the beloved tea cup of someone who cherished it dearly because you can notice some of the hand painted flowers are missing. My husband thinks it belonged to someone who was left handed. It is dainty and feminine. It is a Vintage Foley E. Brain & Co.Ltd Fine Bone China from 1930’s, made in England. It is available as a sweet jewelry holder or candy dish.
I could not resist these vintage Salt and Pepper shakers. Some are from Occupied Japan (1945-1952). Some are dainty and as small as 1 inch, others not so small and as red as tomatoes and come with a mustard pot! See for yourself!
What an exciting day we had in Ambler/Lower Gwnyedd Township on Saturday September 14th! So glad to be part of this event! The clouds looked ominous but the rain stayed away.
I must admit, I enjoy hunting for vintage cups and saucers. I also like researching when anc where they were made. They can be use for displaying desserts, candy, fruit, etc. Also can be used for jewelry.
What a fun day we had in Lansdale!
