So I started working in my garage again (as you can tell from the pictures I am posting) now that summer is over. It is also a much safer place since I am using my handy dandy hot glue gun! I have made some with foam cones, paper mache’ and bottle brush trees. I used burlap, wonderfully rich fabric left over from window treatments and trim I had from previous projects. I am also using some of my vintage cups and candlesticks. I am having a blast! I hope they will prove to be successful!
I saw this cup and immediately wanted it. It must have been the beloved tea cup of someone who cherished it dearly because you can notice some of the hand painted flowers are missing. My husband thinks it belonged to someone who was left handed. It is dainty and feminine. It is a Vintage Foley E. Brain & Co.Ltd Fine Bone China from 1930’s, made in England. It is available as a sweet jewelry holder or candy dish.
I could not resist these vintage Salt and Pepper shakers. Some are from Occupied Japan (1945-1952). Some are dainty and as small as 1 inch, others not so small and as red as tomatoes and come with a mustard pot! See for yourself!
